Hmm, I just tried and it worked immediately. When I downloaded the
TeXmacs source from the same server yesterday, I had to retry several
times, too.
I do not know wether it is a bug or a misconfiguration.
Or a temporary server problem?

Don't know about this, but when I just checked this (strating with the
Tutorial for Beginners), I found another bug: The inline pictures were
not shown, and in the console I had:

Aladdin Ghostscript 6.01: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1
This is repeatable. I even removed the whole ~/.TeXmacs directory and
started from fresh. Same error.
It is not surprising that ghostscript fails when the file does not
exist. But why does pngtopnm use such a wrong file name, and where can I
tell TeXmacs that my home directory is *not*

How does it get the idea to prepend http://www.gnu.org/ to the path?
