[Texmacs-dev] don't get texmacs up on cygwin

starting texmacs 1.0.1.21 causes the following error messages

           ] in file init-texmacs.scm
TeXmacs] Loading hyphen.us
TeXmacs] Loading cmr10 at 600 dpi
Guile error] (unbound-variable #f "Unbound variable: ~S" (texmacs-module) #f)
           ] in file init-buffer.scm

and numerous errors of the form

error in make-menu-widget tuple
