As far as I know, there currently no write access to the CVS
for the code (but there is for the documentation). The process
is : send the patch to Joris, he looks, and then asks for some
changes if needed. Then as soon as everything is OK, at
some point the patches are applied to the CVS repository
by Joris himself.

It is useful to send a patchset with a little text file explaining
why each patch has been written, and what it does. Dont
write a novel : 2-15 lines per patch is the reasonable amount
of text. Of course, it depends on the size of the patch, but
big patches should be splitted in several small ones, and
big improvements / feature implementations, etc. should
have been negociated and discussed in advance in one
way or another, anyway.

in TeXmacs. Ask Joris for more details.
