Hi,
Are you aware of the fortress project whose goal is to create a new
high performance computing language that *uses a mathematics-like*
syntax? This is an example of a fortress program:
http://research.sun.com/projects/plrg/faq/NAS-CG.pdf
It looks a lot like APL, as far as I can see...
I am not familiar with TexMacs' output filters, but I am wondering if
one could write one in Scheme to output a TexMacs document in the
fortress language?
Yes, you can definitely do this.
I don't expect you to know the answer to that, but
where can I find information on writing output filters that would
convert TexMacs documents to other formats?
I don't know if there is any documentation about
filters currently.
At this point, I am not familiar with fortress to tell you exactly
what kind of output is necessary. If you are interested, I can keep
you posted about what I find.
I am interested. Please post on texmacs-dev
in the future, this way you can reach much
more people.
