This is one of our major tasks for this year : to get
rid once for all of the UNIX idiosyncracies of TeXmacs,
and have a native install of TeXmacs for all the important
platforms (i.e., Windows & Mac OS). Thus in some months
from now, people will not have these kinds of excuses
for not using TeXmacs anymore ;-)...
