According to the traces, it is due to `file-exists-p':

20:29:33.092898 tramp-file-name-handler (1) # Interrupt received in operation
(file-exists-p
/sudo:address@hidden:/spire/olympus.ipadfm/class.ipadfm.admin.form.process.handler)

Unfortunately, there's no backtrace in your mail. I would like to see
it, in order to understand where this call comes from.
