Hi,
To many users it often seems that since GNU 0.2 nothing happened and
that the Hurd is dead. The "What's new" page on http://hurd.gnu.org
does not show that many news items related to the development of the
Hurd.
What about adding much more news items. Perhaps we can even add some
now. IMHO things like the new console, Ogi's work on ext2fs,
etc. should be mentioned. It would not really be news but I think it
is important enough. (Does someone have an idea how to put such old
stuff in the news section without making it look stupid? :)).
I also think the L4 Hurd "Porting the GNU Hurd to the L4 Microkernel"
should be accessible from http://hurd.gnu.org. Is it ok to add it?
Of course I'm willing to do all this, but that will have to wait for two
weeks because I don't have much time at the moment.
Thanks,
Marco
