Someone asked if it was not possible to view games with XBoard always from
the black point of view. I thought that we already had that, by switching
auto-flip view off. But I tried it, and it turns out that even with
auto-flip view off New Game always resets the view to white below. The
only thing it affects is whether the orientation will change when you
click 'Machine White' or 'Machine Black'.

Is this to be considered a bug? I could not think of any reason that would
make it imperative to switch the view back to white POV on 'New Game'. It
just seems a form of auto-flipping to me. (I am not even sure if WinBoard
has always done this. or if it is something I inadvertantly introduced.)
