No problem. Your mods look okay to me. Now, about the new
Gnome-inspired release of 1.4p6...it's a shame that it's too late for a
similar dirlist patch for that one. :-) 'Sokay, we cygwin folks can keep
our forked version going [dirlist is the only difference between our
1.4p5 and the official 1.4p5].
Unfortunately, I can't pursue that any further for a month or so...

* tests/defs: Honor any installed dirlist when searching for
libtool.m4 and gettext.m4.
