Sorry, but the USB thingy isn't available right now, so no commit.

However, I did start with something new: a quest log that can be filled 
automatically by the engine. With an according GUI, manual entries are also 
possible, of course. Key features are:

* multiple log books
* ordering of entries by topic and/or date
* automatic index to find entries by keyword

Of course, whether the features will be available or not depends entirely on 
the GUI, but at least the basics will be there.
