I had already considered going this way - with low priority. Since what 
I have to do is essentially a port from eeprom-oriented code to using 
sram (simplifying and throwing out "cooling algorithms"), debugging 
should not be a major issue. Looking at such a tool goes to "to be done 
sometime".
