Now -there's- a good idea! I wonder how primitive the protocol is you have
to speak to the wifi card. It's so tiny I suspect you'll be writing a lot of
software.

accessed in SPI mode and most AVRs have hardware support for SPI.  With SPI,
you will use up substantially fewer lines, and the software should be easier
too.  The SD WIFI card I know of is made by SanDisk.
