Thanks for the pointer -- I did not know the status of other
openSolaris-based distribution, so after a week of frustration I gave
up (very strange for someone who's grown up in solaris environment,
isnt' it?)
I'll return to that later (probably end of the month or may).
I spend the morning having "fun" chasing bugs in Axiom with runtime
checking enabled. Pretty scary.
