1.8.3: Upgrading section suggestion

You may not wish to do this, but I thought I'd mention it -- perhaps the
new section `Upgrading' in the automake 1.8.3 manual could mention the
gnulib project at savannah, in regard to keeping scripts up to date.  I
sincerely hope that gnulib includes the latest version of all the
scripts in automake, and more.

but it will never diagnose a missing `--force-missing'.

Alternatively, or in addition to this, you may wish to make use of the
@samp{gnulib} project at @uref{http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnulib}.
It keeps current versions all of the scripts updated by Automake, and
more.
