Well, the problem appears to be with the windows client, but as an aid
to tracking down where exactly things are going wrong may you may find
that replicating the problem locally will let you debug the problem
more easily.

To be honest, I am not familiar with the Windows platform (I don't even
have a copy of any Windows OS on any of my boxen and the last time I was
forced to actually do work on a Windows box was in 2000), so I am
probably not the best person to help you find the problem...
