BTW I am curious if there are any plans upstream to make libtextstyle optional upstream?

For example we (Fedora etc) considered libcroco unsafe since it seems unmaintained

and the package was dropped some releases ago.

So we have to remove libtextstyle by hand when building gettext for Fedora.

I am assuming Arch is likely doing the same - dunno about other distros.

It might make sense for gettext to stop building libtextstyle and using libcroco (at least by default) in 0.23, say?
