But automatic roll doesn't (and isn't intended to) do what you think
it does. It only automatically rolls in those situations where the
cube can not or should not be used:
1) You have doubled your opponent, so doubling is not an option for
you
2) The cube is dead - Crawford games. I haven't checked if it
auto-rolls when you could double but would be really foolish to do
so, like when you are 1 away from winning a match
3) Use doubling cube is off

For automatic rolls, this isn't always the case - there's no reason to
turn it off duing a Crawford game.
In general, I find the idea that changes to the tutor mode options,
which control what advice you do or don't get should not affect
game/match settings - one's about how things are analysed, the other
is about how the game is played.

No - if you are using tutor mode and only want to have it judge your
chequer play, that does not mean you should turn off the doubling cube
- chequer play is sometimes very much affected by the presence or
absence of the cube, so turning the cube off means you are potentially
playing under a totally different set of conditions and the right play
may be very different.

No - see the comments re Crawford rules

The patch I commited has this effect - you'll not get tutor popups for
cube decisions if the doubling cube is disabled.
