Hmm.  I have great internet connections at home and at university, so I'm  
not one to
ask.  The filesizes are between 100Kb and 750Kb; the latter _does_ seem a  
bit big.

As far as project management goes, I'm not bothered -- compressing them or  
resizing
them or whatever is just a matter of modifying the file and doing another  
git commit.
 If you can compress them, that would be great.  If not, don't worry about  
it.  If
the size becomes an issue later, somebody else will come along to fix it.   
If nobody
volunteers, then obvious it's not a big deal.  :)

In any case, patch (mostly) accepted.  Thanks, that closes this issue.
