I found this in the gettext manual:

If you have suppressed the `intl/' subdirectory by calling
`gettextize' without `--intl' option, then you don't need to add
     `intl/Makefile' to the `AC_OUTPUT' line.

I had to rerun gettextize (for the new version of gettext), and I wasn't
aware of --intl.

Is there any reason to use it with --intl?

I'm trying to figure out how to replace the tarball. (The upload
system won't let me overwrite!)

Cheers,
Andrew
