Oh. Sorry. It worked for DVI. Indeed the documentation does mention
that
* The address@hidden' line provides a name for the Info file and
tells TeX to open auxiliary files. *All text before
address@hidden' is ignored!*
| Maybe makeinfo should warn about this?
