I beleive this was a mistake, 4.6 is the latest official release.

I checked this now, and I got the 4.6 manual.  So I suppose Karl,
the Texinfo maintainer, has updated it upon your request.
(Perhaps he has even mailed you and I haven't seen the mail.)

If you still see the old manual, please report the actual URL.
