The cvs version of makeinfo breaks the Emacs Lisp reference manual
(from Emacs cvs) -- neither standalone Info nor Emacs can read the
resulting info files.
The first info file, 'elisp', looks weird -- before the tags table it
contains over 7000 lines of text which is also included in the next
file, 'elisp-1'.
