I just noticed how great Classpath is doing these days in Japitools coverage.

Versus 1.2, the only oranges and reds (below 80% coverage of any package) are in Swing and CORBA (the latter being totally missing, of course).

Versus 1.3, only Sound is added to that list. Oh, and java.awt becomes a very light orange (79%).

Versus 1.4, Imageio and Security get added to that list (not sure whether the current run includes this new security work, though). Oh, and javax.print.attribute.standard which is a very light orange (78%).

The big holes, therefore, are only:
- Swing (obviously heavily in progress)
- CORBA (no work is being done here AFAIK)
- Sound (Kaffe scores almost 100% here, some merging needs doing?)
- Imageio (not sure of the state of this)
- Security (which is the subject of the message I'm replying to).

Getting to the point of only four major holes in an API as large as Java 1.4 is incredible, unbelievable progress. Obviously API coverage doesn't tell the whole story, but I still think congratulations are in order :)

Stuart.

PS I'm still interested if anyone wants to step up to maintain or co-maintain Japitools. Preferably someone who, unlike me, understands the bytecode file format, because we'll shortly be faced with making Japitools handle generics, and I have NO clue how to approach that problem.
