I was asked last week by Rajesh, and after some thought I said to
him that I can *not* do that.

Mainly because of personal circumstances: I'm troubled by a
bad back/neck that for periods have made me unable to even work full
time. And things have gotten worse again lately. When this happen,
"hobby hacking" get very low on my priority-list.

With this in mind, I don't think I would have become a good "leader"
of Cons development. The risk is high that I would have been just
another in-active cons developer.

I hope a solution can be found for future Cons maintenace and
development. But right now you cannot count on me.
