I can't decide whether the right response to this is to laugh or cry.

Or pour 1.5e8 litres of concrete around the MPAA headquarters, and
 the U.S. Patent Office.

In effect, they want to require that all high-speed A/Ds have "watermark detection"
 capability, and shut themselves down like obedient little things.

When I see this kind of nonsense, I feel ashamed to be an engineer...


If they get their way, devices like the USRP would be illegal.
