theres some threads about this, u should take a look

from what i gather, the loss of packets occurring at the end of transmission is due to the transmitting USRP shutting off too early, theres a delay from sending it and it actually being in the air and then receiving it, and because it shut off before it actually waited for the last few packets to get airborne, the receiver never gets the ending ones. to rememdy this you should have ur transmitting USRP to send data in a different modulation at the beginning and end of a transmission, that way the receiver will only pick up the data in the correct modulation and the transmitter will not shut off too early.

hi,
In the problem i am working on, the receiver sends a particular frequency
to the transmitter via the ethernet to which both receiver and transmitter
get tuned. the transmitter should then transmit the specified number of
bytes at that frequency. then the receiver sends the next frequency and the
process repeats. the problem i'm facing is that all the packets transmitted
are not received at the receiver. timeouts occur at the beginning and end
and sometimes in the middle of the frequency range. why does this happen?
can anyone explain what is meant by transmitter saturating the receiver
front end?
Kindly help,
anma
