Doesn't unetbootin format the device as FAT32, which doesn't support files larger than 4GB...
YahiaThanks Neel and Johnathan. I have used UNetBootin to create a new GNU Radio live but I have set the persistent memory to 4 GB (Thanks to Richard Bell advice). It is zero by default so you end up with no memory to save your work by default and it seems it does not set it beyond 4GB. It feels like due to some 32bit limitation somewhere!I guess I am good for now and thanks for the helpOn Thu, Dec 24, 2015 at 8:59 PM, Johnathan Corgan <address@hidden> wrote:On Thu, Dec 24, 2015 at 8:18 AM, Neel Pandeya <address@hidden> wrote:The GNU Radio Live SDR image [1] does not have persistence, so you will not be able to permanently save anything to the USB drive. This is inaccurate. The GNU Radio Live SDR image is an ISO image. It can be burned to a DVD, which indeed does not have persistence, but the more typical way to use it is to create a bootable USB drive with a program like UNetBootin or Ubuntu Startup Disk Creator. Both of these options have the choice to create a persistence area that will automatically preserve files created or changed during the use of the live image.--Johnathan Corgan
