Thanks for the words of encouragement, Marcus. I probably didn't need to upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 since that platform is dedicated to GRC and the E310. I should've taken the approach to update the OS only if updating GRC requires it. I just can't seem to resist those Unity Updater prompts to upgrade and forgetting that GRC ready-to-go packages, unlike other apps from repos, don't necessarily exist (but I sure wish they did).
