You should check whether the wraster library was found by configure and
included. (in core/back)
The wraster library is part of Window Maker and GNUstep uses it to load
non-tiff images. If it isn't automatically found by configure, you can
try the following parameter:
--with-wraster=PREFIX get-wraster-flags directory prefix
I've seen this problem quite often on the list. Maybe we should include
this in the FAQ?
