Hello,

I've got a 4165B, and I simply can not get it working.
uname -a: Linux borg 2.6.13.4-libata-asd-wifi #1 Sat Oct 15 13:22:36
CEST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

If i disable ide-scsi, I get this:
address@hidden:/home/asd/dvdrtools-0.2.1# ./cdrecord/dvdrecord -dummy -dao -v
-eject
 speed=2 dev=/dev/hdd ../filmek/The\ Siege\ -\ Szuksegallapot/The.Siege-Szuksega
llapot-MaMik.iso
dvdrtools v0.2.1

The disc is completely unuseful... If I want to mount that disc, mount
fails, the error message is:
# mount /dev/dvd /mnt/dvdrom/ -t udf
mount: block device /dev/dvd is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/dvd,
       missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

And I can see this in the log:
Oct 12 21:46:33 borg kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Oct 12 21:46:33 borg kernel: sr0: rw=0, want=68, limit=4

Oct 12 21:46:59 borg kernel: scsi0 (0:0): rejecting I/O to offline device

I have no ideas, because this drive is ABLE to work with windows...
What could be the problem OR what else should I attach?
