Hmmmm.  OK.  Cool, I guess. :)

Then let me phrase my position as such. Even though I am
skeptic of the merits of the change, I don't wish to exercise that
power fully, i.e. I won't use that veto in this particular case,
especially given that you are the head Emacs maintainer.
