I don't know anything about it, but you can easily find out by testing it.
Try running IceCat with LibreJS enabled and see if it works to pay.
Also try disabling JS in IceCat and see if it works to pay.
You can also try lynx and see if it works to pay.

If any of those works reliably, we can urge people to use it.
