No, don't push my programmer's muscle memory which wants
to work with the set of characters that 99% if not all the programming
languages use for identifiers and syntactic constructs.  At least
don't do it to me while I'm programming (elisp code, comments,
Git commit messages) where my brain needs as little Unicode
noise as possible.  Switching to the US layout where most language
designers designed popular programming languages in the second
half of the 20th century was one of the most productive decisions
of my career.

If I want to type type fancy smileys (or my own name João) in
non-programming Unicode capable places, that's another story.
