They don't show up, even those I look now above don't show up same,
left one is smaller check mark, right one is emojified.
This has been explained in bug report that there is char FE0F after ✔
and that is where it becomes recognized and emojified ✔ and ✔️ are not
same as I have done C-x 8 RET FE0F right after ✔ and have understood
how and why it works.
