emacs -Q, `C-w completion-at-point':

completion-at-point is on C-M-i, <menu-bar> <lisp-interaction> <Complete Lisp 
Symbol>

And C-M-i is a different way to spell M-<tab>.  So perhaps you have some
local customisations?
