I have no clear opinion on whether we should enable it or not, but FWIW

I just tried it in my config and when after I press `C-x` in my
minibuffer-only frame, Emacs gets into a busy-loop eating 99% of the CPU
(and growing its heap) until I finally hit another key.
Probably easy to fix (and I didn't notice anything fishy going on with
my setup even though it tends to trip up many window-creating packages).
