No pun; the Greek root glot is equivalent to Latin lingua (and English
tongue), so to me "Eglot" isn't jarring at all and is sufficiently
descriptive.
 
Doh, of course. I'm a bit embarassed, I forgot portuguese has so many words
of Greek origin (glote means throat, for example).
