I really glad you decided to join us. This is going to be a fun project.

The timing of your entry is pretty good (I'm thinking of your current
preoccupation with your finals) as Rich and I a trying to get a core
foundation in place that will let everyone else start working on other
pieces semi-independently. We're real close, but we are still working out
the mechanism that a plugin would use to insert itself into the GUI.

So, by the time your ready to jump in, there will probably be something
available into which you can actually jump!

Also, being the maintainer of Ruby-Gtk, you might want to take a look at out
ML archive and check out the recent series of discussion on GUI frameworks
and Internationalization, as you may have a unique perspective on this.

Currently the archive is still at Yahoo Groups (Laurent is going to migrate
it to Savannah we he has the time). You can find it at:
