As you may already know I am in charge of project-wide
Internationalization ( I18N) so, eventually we will have to work together in
order to organize the website for future localization in languages other
than english.

Apart from coding, I also have a background in art, I have done
some web design in the past, and I still do some creative work now
and then just for fun.

Some days ago I had 15 spare minutes, and I did this graphic I am
attaching. It's a downsampled PNG image, if you want, you can
get the hi-res Photoshop 6.0 PSD file from:

the TrueType font I used is "Formata Regular" and you can

It didn't make sense to publish this before, but now you are on
board, it makes sense to share it.

The FreeRIDE logo came to mind when I started to think of a
metaphor that would represent FreeRIDE, something that would
give it the professional look it deserves, yet being cool at the
same time.

UFO abductions came to mind, as a Free RIDE on an
unprecedented, superb, hi-tech, spacecraft from another
galaxy. (you know X-Files and that kind of stuff.)

I know this is not strictly related to FreeRIDE development,
but it was fun to do anyway.

I will update you on I18N briefly.
