Hum, I think you can create subpages with mediawiki, such as:

Yes, except that users must name them explicitly with the right
namespace. While in pmwiki, if you create a page, it is placed
automatically in the section you where visiting.

MediaWiki's namespaces feature looks more like what I meant.

Would it be possible to disable talk pages for some namespace (i.e.
the forum namespace)?

Of course there is! so, feel like hacking the code ;)
In all reality, I highly doubt most people will end up using the talk pages anyway, so I raise this question:

Should we disable talk pages all together and just allow people to post on the pages themselves?
