Well, gnokii and windows history is a bit weired. There were misc people
that tried to take care of the port, but none did really it in the long
term.

The things you are talking about were introduced by Marcin Wiacek. Well
there were submitted by Marcin and commited by Bozo and me during the one
of the last tries to cooperate.

I think these things were not verified by anyone -- I don't have a copy of
VC6 and I didn't hear a single complaint of this so far, but feel free to
modify/remove it as the win32 port although works is orphaned right now.

Microsoft has its own make? I bet it is completly incompatible with any
other make available. What did I won? ;-)
