I was understand AN124 Bascom code and saw that you send to phone:
1- Reset (^&1F^&00^&1D^&40^&00^&04^&00^&01^&64^&03^&01^&21)
Result: Ok! I sent it and the phone reseted and work fine.
2- Phone ID (^&1F^&00^&10^&04^&00^&04^&00^&01^&00^&01^&01^&0E)
Result: Not much... I sent and receive only a ack. Phone ID not present in
answer. :-(
3- HW/SW versions (^&1F^&00^&10^&D1^&00^&05^&00^&01^&00^&03^&00^&02^&DB)
Result: Ok! I sent this and receive:

I received an ack but no new messages appear in phone lcd.

Anybody understand what is happening?
For this tests I am using a CDMA NOKIA 3280 but the same results happen with
6120 and 5120 TDMA phones.

I have written code to authenticate using BASCOM on a ATMEL microcontroller.

In my experimentation, I found that you didn't need to authenticate, but the
Set Cell Broadcast had to be sent to the phone, and after this, incoming
call notification came through.

If you are interested, you can check out http://www.mcselec.com/an_124.htm
for an application note I have 'thrown' together.  Due to limited memory in
microcontoller, and because I was using Basic, and not assembly, I could not
fit everything into 8K memory.

Note, I used FBUS, and not MBUS, but I assume that the packets/packet order
are very similiar.
