Hi,
Sorry for the last mail. I have copied "gnokiirc" from "E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\doc\sample" to "D:\Documents and Settings\vsengr" and *rename* it to "_gnokiirc". Here is an output of running "gnokii --identify"

***************************************************************************************************
E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\bin>gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.5.6
Telephone interface init failed: Command timed out
Quitting.

E:\vsengr\gnokii-0.5.6-win32\bin>
***************************************************************************************************
I have tried with COM1 and COM2 both. Have tried with FBUS and MBUS option of cable. But same result. What to do now?!?

Regards,
VSENGR.

No. This zip file contains the _compiled_ win32 version. You can
execute it (you will find gnokii.exe in the package) or you can
develop programs based on libgnokii.

If you downloaded the precompiled package you won't find the source
in it. BTW you have no need for the source unless you want to compile
libgnokii (gnokii.dll on win32) yourself.

No, is the folder where the precompiled gnokii package was
extracted.

Try to run "gnokii --identify" first. Don't forget to create a working
gnokiirc file (you will find an example in the doc/sample folder).

Bye,
Bozo
