Oh... I figured out... cset-file-diff gets a patch from a changeset
directory. It provides encapsulation. Since the changeset data format
might change in the future, encapsulation is always a good thing.
But actually, that is not very difficult to implement yourself in your
tool. What is true, is that the changeset data format could use more
documentation.
