LUFS, FUSE or similar things are of course a canonical solution to the
problem...

I see I have made a mistake of ever speaking about sftp and nfs. That is
NOT the point. The point is, that a revision library should be accessed
in a way, that all users from some group have exactly the same rights to
it -- any of them should be able to add a revision and any of them
should be to delete afterwards (even if someone else has added it, that
is).
