Just downloaded tla 1.1 and it complains about needing GNU diff, even
though I'm on Debian 2.2 which has only GNU diff (from diffutils 2.7).
Same happens even if I explicitly point configure to the GNU diff & diff3
binaries.

How do I avoid this? Is my GNU diff really broken?
