[Gnu-arch-users] "conflict applying patch in arch_build_revision"

Hello list!

I recently created a new arch repository (mirror from a v1 repository,
then deleted the mirror file, in order to transition to a newer version of
arch) and whenever I try to check out, or commit anything tla always
aborts with the message

  "PANIC: conflict applying patch in arch_build_revision"

now what does this mean? I have already recreated the archive multiple
times
