Ironically, Miles' argument of simplicity (vs newbie) applies here.

I have to agree with Miles on the order of precedence of argument,
yet I agree with this conclusion ("tla add").

Perhaps some people use add-id rather than add ??

If we want to try to avoid the "tar pit of dumbed down newbiewness",
then we should be aiming for Common- or Recommended- Practice.

And I'd be surprised if in this case, add didn't win the day.
