The fonts come with the LilyPond binary, so unless you did something
special, they should be installed ok.

It looks like you have to set MFINPUTS, if you're using the lilypond
shell:

   export MFINPUTS="$WINDOWS_MFINPUTS"
   dvips angels

Otherwise, have a look at /etc/profile.d/tex-wrapper.sh and
/etc/profile.d/zlily-profile.sh.

Doesn't

   ly2dvi -P angels.ly

work for you?
