I think this got lost. Sorry if not.
Using 1.4.2 ly2dvi, Anthony Fok's "last" potato .deb, I get a very
nice copyright notice with:
tagline = "\center \copyright David Raleigh Arnold"
but unfortunately this only gives the desired result when the work
in question is only one page long. How do I get a copyright
notice centered at the bottom of the first page where it belongs?
(I wouldn't mind having a tagline at the end of the piece too.)
copyright = "foo" does nothing. :-(
I think it would be better if \time 4/4 and \time 2/2 did the
numbers and \time c and \time 2 did the other thing. I am one of
those unfortunate few who see no point in a C as a time signature
any more, but for the teeming millions who love it still, it's
more intuitive
and easier to type c or 2. I found the C to be an unpleasant
surprise, especially with all the extra horizontal space around
it. The C was an abbreviation and therefore should be easier to
enter than the 4/4 it abbreviates. :-)
Can I get page numbers in the style of
"TitleOrAbbreviatedTitleAndOrPart page 5 of 12" etc.? Or
5/12? How? I think it is a very good idea for anything printed
on more than one sheet, and I
have always done it when I could.
